A demonstration of the Opt-Out functionality can be tested on this page. The demo primarily presents Adform's Product Targeting product by showing multiple products in a (AdVise) banner according to previous tracking events recorded for that user, but it also serves as a way to illustrate the Advertiser Specific Opt-Out functionality.
All functionality is handled through the cookie based user ID which is stored in an Adform cookie. If a user clicks the “Opt-out” button, Adform will store a second cookie in the user's browser which indicates to Adform not to store or update any other cookies anymore. This means that from that point no user information will be tracked and as a result the user will e.g. not be shown personal customized products in the Adform AdVise banners based on events happening after the Opt-Out occurred.
